Used Equipment, buying and selling at the Spring Fair

This is a great time to sell tools and equipment you’re not using anymore, or to come to the fair and pick up a new wheel, loom, reel or other treasures! Be sure to download the Entry Form if you want to bring something for sale!

Workshop: Spin the Breeds, Saturday, April 22, 11am-2pm
Instructor: Amy Wolf
Come explore these breeds! Eight different, and some rare, sheep breed samples will be presented in this half-day class. You will go home with 2 ounces of washed fiber per breed, for a total of one pound of wool samples. We will discuss the uses for each breed and project samples and patterns will be available. Our eight this year will be Valais Blacknose, Navajo-Churro, Gotland, Kerry Hill, Natural Colored Horned Dorset, Bluefaced Leicester, Cormo and Targhee. No experience needed. Bringing a wheel or drop spindle is optional. Hand combs or cards are also optional, but not required. Maximum 15 students.
Class fee: $30, Materials fee: $20

Do you have a fiber craft you’d like to demonstrate at Shepherd’s Extravaganza? Send in your Entry Form so we can get you on the list and send you a ticket to the fair!

The deadline for craft booths, entering fleeces and fiber arts, bringing your used equipment, advertising on our website, etc is March 15. The deadline for signing up for workshops is April 15. Click here for more information!

See you at the fair!
