Add a Fiber Workshop to Your Calendar!

Shepherd’s Extravaganza, April 12-13, 2025 at the King County Fairgrounds

Spinning the Breeds with Amy Wolf
Saturday, April 12, 1:00-4:00 PM

Come and learn about eight different breeds and the wool they provide. Each student will receive a 2 ounce sample of each breed for a total of one pound of washed fleece in this three hour class. Bring your wheel or wool preparation tools as you learn about each of these unique breeds, their history, and how to best use their fiber. Maximum 20 students. Class Fee $30. Materials fee $20.

Amy Wolf has raised sheep and goats for the last 40 years. She travels extensively around the United States shearing and judging wool, sheep, and fiber goats.

Check out all the other workshops this year here!

This year, our entry form is online, so you can just go down the list and sign up for all the activities in one place! When you finish the form, if there are any charges for your selections, you’ll receive an email invoice. If you decide to add an event later (like if you decide to take another class), go back and do the form again (that way we won’t charge you twice!).

Signing up for a craft booth:

Right now, a 10’x10′ booth is $125.00 and the 10’x20′ booth is $250.00, but note that starting on February 10, the booth price will be going up, so it’s a good idea to get yours now.

Fiber Arts and Yarn Competition:

Show off your recent work at our Fiber Arts Competition!

Wool Show

This year, you can bring up to 10 fleeces for judging, and up to 10 fleeces just for sale.

And there’s so much more! Fill out the entry form to join in the fun.

We really like our new location at the King County Fairgrounds. The building is warm and well lit, lots of room to grow!
